Attending a routine Starfleet conference on Earth, Kirk encounters an anomaly and his shuttle loses power. He wakes up disoriented, but shortly pieces together some facts. He's in the 21st century, still Earth, but Edge City doesn't ring a bell. Mistaken for a man from this time called Lucas Luthor, he discovers his half brother Lex is embroiled in a struggle to control a corporation, and wants his help to topple their father, Lionel. Can Kirk keep the timeline intact, play his role as Lucas, and find his way back to his time? Is writing joke show notes for a Smallville episode nominally Star Trek related because of a single actor going a little too far? Is there actually a staff at the Talon?
